By the grace of Allah, Makki Masjid
is proud to announce the launch of a new 6 year Islamic
Theological studies program. As traveling abroad for
Islamic studies becomes more challenging by the day, the
need to start such programs locally is ever more
demanding. Today the community is desperately in need for
more western oriented Islamic scholars and this program is
geared to cater for that need.
In this program students will gain
expertise in the following fields:
- Arabic
grammar, vocabulary, morphology and literature
- Islamic
Creed (Aqeedah)
- Quranic
Tajweed
- Islamic
Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and its rules
- Quranic
Exegesis (Tafseer) and its rules
- Hadith
Literature and narrative rules
- Islamic
History
Classes will begin on February 4 2008
and will be held from Monday to Friday, 6pm to 8pm.
Hours may increase as the program progresses. Fees are
$50 a month.
