Qurʿān Recitation Program

Islamic Essentials is an evening program that is offered from Monday to Friday at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. In this program students are taught to accurately recite the Qurʾān along with receiving lessons on:

• Islamic Beliefs
• Islamic Behavior
• Practical Purification (Ṭahārah)
• Practical Prayer (Ṣalāh)
• Memorizing Sūrahs

In this program we strive to:

• Ensure that your child recites the Qurʾān as it was revealed to our beloved Prophet s.
• Refrain from wasting your child’s time.
• Ensure that your child has the best masjid experience ever.

The program is offered through 6 five month courses which are offered over a span of three years. The courses are as follows:

• Course 1: Qāʾidah
• Course 2: Juz ʿAmma
• Course 3: Juz 29 to 26
• Course 4: Juz 20 to 25
• Course 5: Juz 11 to 19
• Course 6: Juz 1 to 10

Lessons are taught in a group format and class sizes are kept relatively small to ensure that your child receives maximum attention and completes his lessons successfully. Admissions are open only before the course is offered and is completely closed once the course is begun. This is so the entire class progresses smoothly without any interruptions.
