Islamic Foundations

Islamic Foundations is a total of five courses in which students are taught the essentials aspects of their religion, such as:

  • Beliefs (ʿAqīdah)

  • Purification (Ṭahārah)

  • Ritual Prayer (Ṣalāh)

  • How to deal with social vices

  • The Prophet Muḥammad’s biography

  • How to adopt the Prophet Muḥammad’s lifestyle in this day and age

Islamic Foundations 1

Course Objective:

To teach students:

  • The purpose of life
  • The 7 principles of īmān
  • The basic rules and practical method of wuḍūʾ
  • The basic rules and practical method of ṣalāh

Learning Outcome: Upon completing this course students will know:

  • How they must serve Him
